Using Ad Co-op Publishing To Get
Free Leads
This lesson teaches you to get free
leads with ad co-ops.
These services sell advertising by bringing publishers together. You do
not have to purchase ads
as a publisher.
Each publisher in the group gets free
leads by running the ads of the people who purchase
advertising. Those who run either free or paid advertising must
subscribe to the lists that run their ad.
While I don't recommend this for an established marketer, per se, it's
a great way to get several hundred or more subscribers or so if you are
just starting out. This method is for the beginning to intermediate
marketer. It works 100%. However, services like EzineFire give somewhat
higher-quality subscribers because they are more targeted.
Nonetheless, I did make my first few sales using this exact method and
then moved on to other techniques.
Most importantly, this is another one of those CAN'T-FAIL methods. You would have to be a retarded chimpanzee
not to get subscribers with these free services.
Special Tips:
1. You have to give a name for your ezine. This could be virtually any
name as long as it is tasteful. Don't think too hard about it. You
could call it Jane's Marketing Tips or Bob's Traffic Secrets. Anything
like that will do.
2. When you run these ads, put your ads at the very top so they get the
most exposure. Run all the other ads below your ad.
3. IMPORTANT- If you use
this method, set up a separate list for these ad co-ops. Your regular
subscribers should go on a list with an autoresponder and weekly
mailings.
This method should use a throw-away list that will get you started, but
you want a separate list for the other techniques that I teach.
The reason for this is that you want your ads only going out to your
quality list of subsribers.
What do I mean by this?
Your regular list will be non-incentivized subscribers who actually
respond to your ad and subscribe.
Ad co-op subscribers are incentivized subscribers. In other words, they
are subscribing because they have to subscribe to run either free or
paid ads.You always want to separate your incentivized and
non-incentivized subscribers.
Your non-incentivized subscribers are more valuable, so you don't want
to expose them to other ads. This could decrease your response rates.
With the incentivized subscribers coming from the ad co-ops, you fully
expect them to read less because they will be joining several other
lists at the same time.
So, the lesson is to separate your good subscribers, who respond to
your actual ads, from the so-so subscribers, who are joining because
they need to join to get what they want.
4. You will need a webpage to act as the home of your ezine.
I recommend StartLogic:

However, you could use any free webpage. I just don't recommend it.
To run two separate lists, one each for your incentivized and
non-incentivized subscribers, I recommend SendFree.

I actually use SendFree, and I recommend it without reservation.

Go to these URL's below and apply to be a publisher. You will be
guaranteed free subscribers as soon as you are accepted.
Apply for all of them because I don't currently know the usage rate of
all these ad co-ops.

This one is the most hands-free ad co-op, but
it does require 2000 subscribers on your list.
You might drop them an email, anyway. They
might cut you a break if you are honest.
